About the event
Join us for a nurturing and introspective retreat from home, as we embrace the seasonal shift of the Fall Equinox through ceremony, ritual, meditation and yin yoga. This retreat offers you a sacred space to reconnect with yourself and the rhythms of nature.
- Intention-Setting Ceremony: Begin by creating a personal ceremony in your home space. We will collectively set intentions, grounding ourselves in our inner desires while aligning with the natural energies of fall. This ceremony will help create a sacred atmosphere that guides your practice and self-reflection.
- Svadhyaya (Self-Study) & Reflection: Throughout the workshop, we will weave in moments of quiet contemplation and journaling. You will be guided to reflect on the lessons the season is offering and what changes you may want to invite into your life. This practice of svadhyaya will deepen your understanding of your inner self.
- Movement Meditation Experience the grounding and rejuvenating effects of mindful movement as we flow through a gentle, meditative practice that aligns with the equinox’s balancing energy.
- Yin Yoga: Ease into the reflective energy of the equinox with a soothing yin yoga session. This slow, meditative practice will help release deep tension, inviting stillness and introspection. The lunar-inspired sequence mirrors the quiet, inward pull of autumn, guiding you to harmonize body and mind.
- Pranayama & Yoga Nidra: Close the evening by transitioning into deep relaxation through pranayama (breathwork) practices that will guide you in harmonizing your breath, balancing your energy, and letting go of any lingering tension. These techniques will help you clear away old patterns and invite a sense of renewal as you prepare for the new season. Followed by Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation known as "yogic sleep," where you will be led into a deep state of conscious relaxation. This restorative practice allows the body and mind to fully unwind, integrating the day's intentions and practices. Yoga Nidra will help you release any mental or emotional burdens, creating space for peace and inner clarity as you welcome the equinox with a balanced heart.
